Here’s my submission on the dailyshow website support me in my effort to be the new correspondent.

Isn’t time…. for me? The senior latino correspondent? With all the border jumping going on doesn’t the illegal community need a face? I have the look www.josequinones.net/i/jose_quinones_profile.jpg, I’m brownish, have the black hair and I know some spanish! Sure I’m no John Stewart but neither is Wyatt Cenac, Aasif Mandvi or Larry Wilmore. Besides experience, what do they have that I don’t? Argue that one, eh! I guess if the only thing I don’t have going for me is I only have three spanish sounding names but I can change that if needed to be more hispanic.

It is time, time for an equally smarmy spanish looking SOB to take on a correspondence role at the Daily Show. Just think of all the millions of mexicans that will stop watching Sabado Gigante and watch the daily show just waiting to see the senior taco eating correspondent fail. Think of all the money that demographic can’t spend on your sponsors, oh so close to increased revenue!
